Install StreamDek on Android
StreamDek installs from an APK rather than the Play Store. It takes about two minutes: download the file, let Android install it, sign in, and you are watching.

Five steps, start to finish
Download the APK
Tap the download button above on the device itself. Your browser will warn you that this file type can harm your device — that is the standard warning Android shows for every APK, including ones from a site you trust. Choose to keep the file.
Allow the install
Open the downloaded file. The first time, Android asks whether your browser or file manager may install unknown apps. Grant it, install StreamDek, then revoke the permission again afterwards if you prefer.
Sign in
Open StreamDek and sign in, or create an account. One account covers every device in the household, so do this once and pair everything else to it.
Connect your sources
Add the addons, playlists, Debrid service and sync service you want. Doing this in the web Control Center is much quicker — API keys are painful to type on a phone, and the settings apply to every signed-in screen.
Pair your TV
If you also run StreamDek on a TV device, the TV shows a short code. Enter it from your phone and both screens share the same profiles, watchlist and Continue Watching.
Updates. The app checks the StreamDek release feed and tells you when a newer build is out — installing an update is the same download-and-open flow, and your account, profiles and settings carry over untouched.
If something goes wrong
“App not installed”
Almost always an older copy signed with a different key. Uninstall the existing StreamDek app and install the new APK cleanly.
The download is blocked
Some mobile browsers and carrier DNS filters block APK downloads outright. Download it on a desktop from the releases page and transfer the file, or use a different browser.
Nothing appears in the catalogue
StreamDek ships with no content of its own — it shows what you connect. If your home screen is empty, no addons or playlists have been added to that profile yet. Add them in the Control Center and pull to refresh.
Playback fails on every stream
Check the Debrid provider in the Control Center. An expired API key or a lapsed subscription shows up as sources that resolve and then immediately fail.
